<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:#212121">The University of Oklahoma seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Hydrogeoscience to join the <a href="https://www.ou.edu/mcee/geosciences">School of Geosciences</a> in the Mewbourne College
of Earth and Energy in 2025. This position is part of a strategic shift towards collaborative, convergent research that addresses pressing societal needs. In particular, this position will further develop and strengthen burgeoning transdisciplinary collaborations
across environmental science, policy, and critical zone geoscience within the School of Geosciences and across the wider university.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:#212121">We seek a colleague who will engage with both the research and teaching missions of the University to build an impactful, externally funded research program in hydrogeoscience; collaborate with
colleagues across campus to develop transdisciplinary critical zone-focused projects, and lead a supportive research group that includes graduate and undergraduate student researchers. We expect that this faculty member will teach Hydrogeology and one or
more additional upper division undergraduate/ graduate hydrogeoscience courses relevant to their expertise and contribute to our general education teaching efforts (e.g. Earth, Energy, and the Environment; Physical Geology, the Dynamic Earth; Earth Resources
and the Environment; or a new course of their design).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

well as several user facilities across campus, including the <a href="https://www.ou.edu/microscopy">Samuel Roberts Noble Microscopy Laboratory</a>, <a href="https://www.ou.edu/kaefs#:~:text=Kessler%20Atmospheric%20and%20Ecological%20Field%20Station%20(KAEFS)%20is%20a%20360,term%20meteorological%20and%20biological%20experiments.">Kessler
Field Site</a>, <a href="https://ou.edu/irees/simf">Stable Isotope Measurement Facility</a> , and the <a href="https://ou.edu/research-norman/research-support/research-facilities/core-facilities/mass-spectrometry">Mass Spectrometry, Metabolics, and Proteomics
