 with the potential for a joint appointment as a Center Fellow in an institute in the Stanford Doerr School. Earth System Science is the study of the world’s air, water, land, and life as an integrated system. Our department is focused on uniting basic and
 purpose-driven research to understand how the Earth functions, the many ways it is changing, and the consequences for people and other species. We are interested in candidates who can contribute to the department’s strategic research and teaching priorities.
 Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, hydrologic science, global ecology, biodiversity, climate adaptation, human & planetary health, and sustainable food systems. We also welcome applicants who are advancing approaches to environmental data science,
