<div dir="ltr"><div style="box-sizing:border-box;color:rgb(51,51,51);font-family:Gudea,Arial,Verdana,sans-serif;font-size:14px"><strong style="box-sizing:border-box">The Center for Oldest Ice Exploration within the College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences is seeking a <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Coordinator. This is a part-time (.49 <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">FTE</span>), 12-month, professional faculty position.</strong><br style="box-sizing:border-box"><br style="box-sizing:border-box">The Center for Oldest Ice Exploration (<span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span>) at Oregon State University requires a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Coordinator to support its mission of obtaining and analyzing Antarctic ice cores from at least 1.5 million years ago, recruiting and mentoring the next generation of polar researchers, increasing participation of underrepresented groups in polar science, and facilitating knowledge transfer within the scientific community and to external stakeholders.<br style="box-sizing:border-box"><br style="box-sizing:border-box"></div><div style="box-sizing:border-box;color:rgb(51,51,51);font-family:Gudea,Arial,Verdana,sans-serif;font-size:14px">The <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">DEI</span> Program Coordinator will be responsible for working with the <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> Director for <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">DEI</span> and <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> Director, as well as other <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> staff, to implement actions that support the center’s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. These actions include: 1) collecting, analyzing, and interpreting survey data from <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> participants, 2) producing summaries of survey results and other project activities for <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">NSF</span> reporting purposes, for proposals for funding agencies, and for potential scholarly communications, 3) assist in the holistic review process for applications to <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> programming; 4) monitor and coordinate responses to feedback from <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> participants; 5) managing the annual <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">COLDEX</span> <span class="gmail-caps" style="box-sizing:border-box">DEI</span> Award nomination process; and 6) making recommendations for improvements in these activities.<br><br>Apply by May 1 for full consideration: <a href="https://jobs.oregonstate.edu/postings/153161">https://jobs.oregonstate.edu/postings/153161</a></div></div>
