sensing, focusing on atmosphere observation across the entire spectrum of terrestrial emissions, active observations (lidar and radar), and their synergies in producing observation analyses. The candidate will contribute to education through remote sensing
courses and engage in research at UQAM on the Canadian satellite missions AVENIR/HAWC and the Atmosphere Observing System (AOS) of NASA. This involves high-definition radiation modeling, including the scattering and polarization of electromagnetic waves, along
with applications in the physical parameterizations of atmospheric and climate models. The Department offers atmospheric science training programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. It hosts the
