<p style="text-align: justify; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a post-doctoral research
position in urban atmospheric chemistry. The successful candidate will participate in a NASA-funded project to use in-situ data from a fixed network and mobile lab and data from the new NASA TEMPO satellite instrument to quantify the disparities in heat and
air pollutants, and their impacts on health, within Baltimore City. This information will be used to identify and evaluate community-driven solutions to reduce heat and air pollutant exposure. This project is a partnership between JHU Schools of Arts and Sciences,
Engineering, and Public Health, JHU Applied Physics Laboratory, and the Baltimore Equity Transient Coalition. An ideal candidate will be a creative independent thinker, who can work as part of a time, and has a Ph.D. in atmospheric science or related fields.
Experience with analysis of in-situ and/or satellite data is advantageous.</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 10.5pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> </span></p>
