This program examines climate science in the iconic region of Patagonia. The fragile ecosystems of southern Chile and Argentina are especially vulnerable to the impacts of climate change – unpredictable storms, glacial melt, shifting temperatures, fires, and
droughts. This program explores Patagonian ecology and geologic systems, the motivations and tradeoffs of conservation decisions in the region, and compares Chilean conservation approaches to those of other countries around the world.<br>
