<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">We are looking for a motivated, independent individual interested in starting or continuing their career in aquatic biogeochemistry, ocean optics, or remote sensing
to join the Carbon & (H<sub>2</sub>)Optics Lab at Cleveland State University. Our lab focuses on advancing our spatiotemporal and mechanistic understanding of the drivers of water quality and aquatic carbon cycles in inland and coastal waters using optical,
chemical and satellite datasets. We currently have active projects with field components across the Great Lakes (Lakes Erie, Superior, and Michigan) and the Hawaiian Islands, alongside projects considering global processes through the use of in situ and satellite
data. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to lead field, lab, and computationally-focused research across a variety of inland and coastal aquatic systems, and join a diverse, energetic research group in downtown Cleveland. Successful applicants
