The position focuses on impacts of weather extremes
in North America and Europe. There is freedom to implement different
analysis approaches. The post-doc, if s/he so wishes, will also have the opportunity to

Sciences in Uppsala, which focuses on the dynamics of extreme climate events in
the mid and high latitudes and their interactions with other components of the
Earth System. We currently host four nationally funded research projects, and four

focuses on subjects that range from the Earth’s core to the atmosphere, on
