of bodies in our solar system. A start date of July 2024 or later is expected for this position. We anticipate an appointment at the Assistant Professor level, but exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor level (with tenure) will also be considered.
We seek candidates with expertise in broadly defined areas of planetary science, including but not limited to solar system formation and evolution, physics and chemistry of planetary materials, planetary surface processes, and planetary oceans and atmospheres.
We are interested in candidates who address fundamental scientific questions in planetary science using a variety of approaches, including remote sensing or mission-based observations, theory, and computational modeling. We especially encourage applications
from candidates who have research interests that are synergistic with existing capabilities and strengths at Yale University.
