Department of Geography</a> at <a href="https://www.umontreal.ca/en/">Université de Montréal</a> invites applications for a full-time position at the Assistant Professor level in physical geography. Candidates should have an expertise in paleoecology, paleolimnology,
 paleoclimatology, paleooceanography, or any other associated discipline. We are especially interested in candidates that focus on recent geological periods. The Department of Geography is located in UdeM’s new science campus in the heart of Montreal along
 with the Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and Physics Departments, with state-of-the-art laboratories that are equipped with a diversity of specialized instrumentation.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The appointed candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, be active in research, publishing, and the transmission of knowledge, and contribute to the activities of the University.
 Note that all courses are taught in French at UdeM, but we have an institutional learning support program that is offered to all professors wishing to learn French or improve their communication skills.<o:p></o:p></p>
