<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:black">A postdoctoral position is available in the Ng group (</span><a href="http://ng.chbe.gatech.edu/"><span style="color:#1155CC">http://ng.chbe.gatech.edu/</span></a><span style="color:black">) at the Georgia
Institute of Technology. The successful candidate will analyze a comprehensive suite of measurements conducted in urban Atlanta in the last decade and conduct new ambient field measurements to investigate the source, processes, and fates of aerosols in urban
and rural environments. Combined with advanced mass spectrometers and aerosol instrumentation, the candidate will also work on investigation of the performance of low-cost sensors under different environments (at 12</span><a href="https://ascent.research.gatech.edu/"><span style="color:black">
</span><span style="color:#1155CC">ASCENT</span></a><span style="color:black"> sites, with different sources and properties of aerosols), as well as advancing the capability of low-cost sensors for source apportionment analyses. In addition to the specific
research focus, there is opportunity to participate in other research efforts in the group and work with the large group of students, postdocs, and faculty in atmospheric/aerosol chemistry at Georgia Tech.</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="margin-top:12.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="color:black">ASCENT (Atmospheric Science and Chemistry mEasurement NeTwork) is a new comprehensive, high-time-resolution, long-term measurement network in the U.S. for the characterization of aerosol
chemical composition and physical properties.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p style="margin-top:12.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="color:black">Applicants should hold a Ph. D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences/Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge and experience
in operating advanced mass spectrometers (e.g., AMS, ACSM, Vocus, etc.) and programming and analyzing large datasets are preferred. Women and minority candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
