<p class="ContentPasted0">The Department of Geography and The Environment at Syracuse University is seeking a student interested in pursuing PhD research in climate science and climate change impacts, starting in fall 2024. The student will be a part of an
NSF-funded project investigating the effects of climate change on agriculture and the influence of agriculture on regional climate using custom climate model simulations and large observational datasets. Prospective students should have a strong interest in
climate science and in the use of climate data analytics to understand how human societies and systems are affected by climate variability and change. Programming experience is beneficial (but not required), particularly in Python or R. </p>
