Geology Program requires faculty maintain a strong commitment to
teaching and research as well as service in support of UA Little Rock’s
mission. The Program offers undergraduate degrees in geology and a
master’s degree in applied sciences. Applicants should provide evidence
of potential for excellence in both teaching and research. Teaching
duties include undergraduate classes in standard load aligned in UA at
Little Rock. Evidence of publications, presentations and/or project
funding will be desirable for research. Service will possibly include
serving on committees within the Program, college, and university, and
outreach within the community and the profession. This position is
