<div dir="ltr">Dear Earth Science Women's Network team,<div><br></div><div>I hope this mail finds you well. I'm contacting you to kindly ask to publish (or <a href="https://www.socib.es/files/Job-Offer_Blue-Cloud2027.pdf" target="_blank">link</a>) in your website, the attached job vacancy at SOCIB. The vacancy is framed in the EU HORIZON <a href="https://blue-cloud.org/" target="_blank">Blue-Cloud2026 project</a> and will remain open until filled.</div><div><br></div><div>What follows is the summary of the job offer:</div><div>In the framework of the EU Horizon Blue-Cloud2026 project, SOCIB is developing a data workflow
aiming to produce added value products from ocean glider missions. The added value products will
address scientific questions from coastal ocean observations along Europe. The workflow will be
implemented within a ‘so called’ Virtual Lab included in the Blue-Cloud VRE (Virtual Research
Environment). The workflow components will spread across all the added value chain and will
include processing toolboxes, metadata management, standard data format generation and
interactive visualizations.
The applicant will also support the integration of the JERICO e-infrastructure within the BlueCloud system and will ensure the alignment of the above mentioned data workflow with such as
integration when applicable.
In addition, the purpose of the vacancy includes supporting SOCIB scientists, engineers and data
managers to achieve the above mentioned objectives in the framework of both, the current SOCIB
Strategic Plan 2021-2024, and the recently approved SOCIB Plan 2023-2026 and SOCIB 2023
