<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Lancaster Environment Centre is one of the UK’s largest centres for environmental research. Our mission is to perform world-leading fundamental research,
and to use that research to help understand and solve global and environmental challenges. We wish to appoint a lecturer in atmospheric science who will complement our existing research interests in air pollution, weather and climate change, and be willing
to engage in multi- and interdisciplinary collaborations across LEC and the university.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Applications are invited from scientists from all backgrounds who are building an international reputation for research in atmospheric or climate science.
You should have a clear track record of achievement and publication and a compelling vision for your research. While we welcome applications from across the entire spectrum of the atmospheric sciences, we particularly encourage those who have research interests
in atmospheric composition and climate systems, atmospheric data science or local/regional meteorology. You should be able to demonstrate how you will develop international collaborations that complement or strengthen existing research links in LEC.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">You should bring a strong commitment to the teaching of atmospheric science. At undergraduate level, you will support delivery of the Environmental Science
and Geography degree programmes. You may also contribute to new and existing modules in our strong postgraduate portfolio.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
