<p class="MsoNormal">Soliciting applications for a two-year Atkinson post-doctoral Fellow position hosted jointly by Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) and Cornell University. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in modelling (climate, crop
and/or hydrologic modelling) and with interests in climate change and agriculture. The Fellow may be work remotely or be based at EDF’s office in New York City. S/he will spend time both at EDF’s NYC office and at Cornell University, working with the Climate
Smart Agriculture team at EDF and the Systems Agronomy for Global Development team at Cornell, and will participate in a cross-institution professional development program designed to help advance their career. The primary focus of the work will be on modelling
and mapping the impacts of climate change on U.S. cropping systems, and identifying opportunities for alternative cropping systems that are better suited to future climates and reduce agriculture’s environmental impact. For more information and to apply, please
