for this full-time, 12-month position include instruction for the undergraduate
course Introduction to <span>GIS</span> & Mapping, as well as
courses in Remote Sensing or additional contributions to the Applied <span>GIS</span> minor. Teaching constitutes no more than 50% of time for
this position. The remainder is dedicated to support for student and faculty
projects that use <span>GIS</span> technology, such as maintaining <span>GIS</span> teaching and research laboratories, providing technical
support to faculty and students, serving as a liaison between the campus
information technology office and <span>CEES</span>, engaging in
service to the department and university, and participating in the local,
regional, and state <span>GIS</span> communities. Due to the
hands-on nature of this position, the successful candidate will be required to
complete the work in person and on campus. As <span>SUNY</span>
