<div dir="ltr">Hello All,<div><br></div><div>I'm writing to let you know we're looking for a tenure-track Assistant Extension Specialist in Climate Change Resiliency at Rutgers University, Department of Environmental Sciences in New Brunswick, NJ. </div><div><br></div><div>What does this mean? This is a typical teaching/research position with the added benefit of institutionally-supported broader impacts. Rutgers University has a vibrant extension outreach organization that works with members of the public. We're looking for someone who wants to do research in climate change impacts, adaptation, and resiliency and then partner with the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station to translate this science into outreach. Don't let the name fool you: folks who work on climate impacts on urban areas are also welcome. </div><div><br></div>Preferred candidates will have a B.S. in a science or engineering discipline and a Ph.D. in atmospheric or climate science, or related science/engineering disciplines, and have demonstrated the ability to conduct research, engage in grantsmanship, perform outreach, teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and to mentor students.
