<div class="x_ContentPasted0" style="margin:0px"><span class="ContentPasted0" style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; margin:0px">Candidates are sought with expertise in numerical modeling related to weather and atmospheric chemistry at regional and/or
global scales. The successful applicant must have experience using CMAQ, CAMx, GOES-Chem, WRF-Chem or other comparable modeling systems. The applicant will focus on<span class="ContentPasted0"> </span><b class="ContentPasted0">surface exchange processes such
as dynamic surface emissions and/or deposition processes</b><span class="ContentPasted0"> </span>and help develop NOAA’s next-generation modeling systems including the Unified Forecast System (UFS). The selected candidate will be expected to publish results
of their research in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals and make clear, professional presentations at major conferences, seminars and other internal NOAA meetings.</span></div>
