Environmental Sciences at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities invites
applications for a tenure-track faculty position in sedimentology,
stratigraphy, and/or Earth-surface processes. This search is broad,
encompassing the deep-time sedimentary record to modern-day processes and
deposits; the full range of field, laboratory, theoretical, and computational
approaches; and the marine realm to the terrestrial surface and cryosphere. We
seek to fill this position at the assistant professor level, though higher
ranks may be considered for exceptional candidates.</span></p>

hosts diverse research programs and state-of-the-art facilities within the

Earth & Environmental Sciences encompasses the Continental Scientific
Drilling (CSD) Facility, the Institute for Rock Magnetism (IRM), the Polar
Geospatial Center (PGC), and the Minnesota Geological Survey (MGS). Further
