<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class=""><div class=""><div style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class=""><div style="text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">Dear Colleagues,</div><div style="text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><br class=""></div><div style="text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">The <a href="https://www.monash.edu/science/schools/earth-atmosphere-environment" class="">School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment</a> at Monash University in Australia is seeking a highly motivated Senior Lecturer or Lecturer (equivalent to Assoc. or Assistant Prof.) to develop excellence in research and teaching in the broad subject area of Water Science.<br class=""><br class="">We are particularly interested in approaches that inform the global water cycle and/or have applications to climate change, water resources, contamination, Indigenous water science or other environmental problems relevant to Australian and global environments. <br class=""><br class="">Your research will employ experimental, theoretical, observational and/or computational approaches to study physical, geochemical or biogeochemical processes in the terrestrial water cycle at any scale. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: hydrology, hydrogeology, ecohydrology, aqueous geochemistry, and remote sensing of surface and/or groundwater. <br class=""><br class="">The School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment is interdisciplinary and hosts very active groups in Atmospheric/Climate Science, Physical Geography/Environment, and Geology/Geoscience. Facilities include infrastructure to support fieldwork, world class geochemistry laboratories for elemental, stable isotope, radioisotope analysis of waters, soils and environmental materials, an environmental DNA facility, and a preparation laboratory for terrestrial cosmogenic nuclides. The School hosts the Monash Drone Discovery Platform, and has established collaborations with the National Computational Infrastructure, and the Australian Synchrotron (located adjacent to Monash Clayton).
