must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria (a) a track record of producing high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, commensurate with experience, (b) a strong background in tropical and midlatitude climate
dynamics and regional hydroclimate, and (c) research experience involving using/simulating global/regional climate models and strong programming skills (such as NCL, Python, R or equivalent) to handle large datasets on high-performance computing resources.
The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and available funding. Starting date is February 2023 contingent upon completing all documentation required for employment and salary will be highly
