<div class="">The <a href="https://drexel.edu/engineering/academics/departments/civil-architectural-environmental-engineering/" class="">Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering (CAEE)</a> at Drexel University invites applications for
 a<b class=""><i class=""> full-time teaching position in architectural and civil engineering</i></b> at the Assistant Teaching Professor level. The successful candidate will have two primary responsibilities: 1)
<span style="font-style: normal;" class="">teaching courses</span> in the areas of
<b class=""><i class="">engineering economics, statistics, numerical analysi</i></b>s, and other architectural and civil engineering topics, and 2)
<span style="font-style: normal;" class="">serving as the </span><i style="font-weight: bold;" class="">CAEE teaching laboratory coordinator</i>. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in the aforementioned subject areas, and will additionally advise
 students on senior design projects, participate in department-wide curriculum development, and serve on committees to improve the instructional program. As laboratory coordinator, the candidate will manage the architectural, civil, and environmental teaching
 labs, including the <b class=""><i class="">development of the new architectural engineering teaching lab</i></b> that will function as a smart building, HVAC, and indoor air quality instructional space. </div>

<div class="">Candidates must hold a PhD degree in architectural engineering, civil engineering, or related field, by the September 1, 2023, start date, with outstanding academic and/or industrial credentials. Candidates should have previous laboratory (institutional

<div class="">The Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering includes a total of 24 full-time faculty members, including one member of the National Academy of Engineering, multiple early faculty career award winners (NSF and others), and
 one Fulbright Fellow. We are a highly collaborative group, with demonstrated success in working independently and together on critical CAEE problems. Research activity falls into areas such as civil infrastructure and advanced materials, environmental engineering,
 climate change resilience and adaptation, and architectural engineering, among others.</div>
