The Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science at Dalhousie University invites applications for a probationary tenure track position in Atmospheric Science at the level of Assistant Professor from candidates with research interests in, but not limited to,
data assimilation in numerical weather prediction models, satellite remote sensing, severe weather events, and boundary-layer meteorology or processes.Candidates will have a PhD, a strong research record in atmospheric science or in a closely related discipline,
demonstrate a strong potential to establish an externally-funded research program that complements existing strengths within the department and/or university, and demonstrate a strong potential to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the
