a probationary tenure track position in Atmospheric Science at the level of Assistant Professor from candidates with research interests in, but not limited to, data assimilation in numerical weather prediction models, satellite remote sensing, severe weather

discipline, demonstrate a strong potential to establish an externally funded research program that complements existing strengths within the department and/or university, and demonstrate a strong potential to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses
in the department. The successful candidate will be expected to train graduate and undergraduate students in research, contribute to service at the department and university-level, as well as advance the department’s commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
