interactions with organic matter and the impacts on transport. The objective of this National Science Foundation-sponsored project is to explore the impact of organic matter (OM) characteristics on PFAS-OM complexation and accumulation at solid-water and
air-water interfaces. This project will make use of a varied OM and OM proxies to evaluate the interactions. PFAS analysis will include liquid and solid matrices, combining quantification of target analytes and suspect screening to explore a wider range
of compounds. The position is ideal for a person interested in the intersection between the environmental systems and chemical characteristics with a focus on the physicochemical factors that influence interactions.
