<span style="font-size: 12px;" class=""><span style="font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;" class="">The candidates will join a strong and growing Soil Biogeochemistry group studying the interactions of minerals, microbes, and organic matter in the face
of climate change. The successful candidate will perform research on the dynamics of microbe-mineral-organic matter interactions in the rhizosphere, and their vulnerability to climatic drivers. Specifically, this project will address how plant and microbially
mediated mineral transformations impact the fate of carbon and nitrogen. This work will include laboratory-, growth chamber- and field-based experiments. The candidate will employ cutting-edge chemical and biological analyses, including stable isotope tracers,
spectro/microscopic techniques, metabolomics, and microsensors. The project involves close collaborations with a suite of international collaborators across Europe and the US. A maximum of 15% of the workload will consist of teaching support for Bachelor and
Master-level courses in soil biogeochemistry.</span></span></div>
