of climate change. The successful candidate will perform research on rhizosphere processes and their vulnerability to climatic drivers. Specifically, this project will address how plant and microbially mediated mineral transformations impact soil carbon storage.
This work will include laboratory-, growth chamber- and field-based experiments. The results of this research will inform conceptual models of the soil carbon cycle and improve future climate change predictions and mitigation strategies.</span></span></div>

chemical and biological analyses, including stable isotope tracers, spectro/microscopic techniques, and molecular biology tools. The project involves collaborations with a suite of international collaborators across Europe and the US. The successful candidate
will work on this project with a postdoctoral researcher. </span></span></div>
