 Microanalyzer (EPMA); JEOL JSM-6490LV SEM with Cathodoluminescence (CL) and Electron Backscattered Diffraction Detector (EBSD) and Bruker D8 Advance X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD). The facility's vision is to develop leading capabilities of electron microbeam
 instrumentation to allow researchers and students in the Jackson School of Geosciences, the University of Texas at Austin, and those in the south-central region of the US to conduct a broad range of high-impact, discovery class science.  The lab has a strategy
