<span style="color:black">The Tufts University Department of Chemistry in Medford, MA is seeking a part-time lecturer for our Environmental Chemistry course during the Fall 2022 Semester. The successful candidate will teach Chem 8 Environmental Chemistry, an
introductory course for non-science majors and environmental studies students. The course is designed to give students an appreciation for the basic chemical principles that underlie the causes and possible solutions to current environmental challenges. The
course will explore chemical concepts that include equilibrium in complex systems, thermodynamic limits, and kinetic realities as well as the intersection of Environmental Chemistry and Environmental Justice. Case studies from current events and the literature
provide applications and context for the course material.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
