oceanography or a related field. Candidates are expected to have strong computational skills, excitement to work on a new research subject, a good publication record, a high level of independence, curiosity and creativity, and an interest in working in an
international and interdisciplinary research environment. The successful candidate will work with Prof. June-Yi Lee </font><b class=""><font face="Helvetica" class="">to implement an ocean temperature and salinity anomaly assimilation scheme into the Community
Earth System Model (version 2), conduct initialized multi-year forecasts and study the seasonal to multi-year predictability of physical and biogeochemical processes and major modes of climate variability</font></b><font face="Helvetica" class="">. <o:p class=""></o:p></font></p>
