Sciences is housed in the College of Science and Engineering. We offer B.S.
degrees in Environmental Science, Meteorology, and Geology, and participate in an
interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Earth and Ecosystems </span><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:windowtext">Science. The expertise of EAS faculty members spans the Earth
sciences, including meteorology, ecohydrology, hydrogeology, environmental
modeling, climatology, geophysics, and geochemistry.<span>  </span>Faculty members have access to shared
computing resources, state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation for analytical

meteorology, environmental science, or a related field. In addition, candidates
must demonstrate (1) strong oral and written communication skills, (2) the
potential for outstanding teaching, (3) the potential to develop a vigorous
research program that involves students and attracts external funding, and (4) the
ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without
reasonable accommodations. Preference will be given to candidates who have postdoctoral
experience (academic or industry), a demonstrated record of receiving external
funding, and college-level teaching experience, and potential to collaborate
with existing faculty.<span></span></span></p>
