large number of eddy covariance measurement stations, focusing on
production-scale rice agriculture. Field visits may be conducted in irrigated

will investigate the impacts of land cover and management practices on the
surface energy balance, biophysical properties, carbon uptake, and greenhouse
gas emissions. The Post Doctoral fellow will interface with scientists from a
number of institutions and disciplines. The ultimate aim is to advance
scientific understanding by modeling CH4 fluxes using remote sensing and other
geospatial inputs and validate them at the field scale with the eddy covariance
inputs.<span></span></p>
