Successful candidates will use atmospheric modeling tools across different temporal and spatial scales to better understand atmospheric chemistry and air quality-climate interactions. Specific projects include trace gas chemistry, aerosol-cloud interactions,
urban air quality, extreme events (e.g., wildfire and dust) under a changing climate, and trends in greenhouse gas emissions and air quality co-benefits. Research involves extensive collaborations within and beyond the university. Funding is guaranteed for
