There are opportunities to be involved with a number of active projects seeking to use atmospheric observations to better quantify, attribute, and understand sources and sinks of greenhouse gases and air pollutants. </font><div class="" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><font color="#000000" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class="" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><font color="#000000" class="">In particular, there are openings to work on advancing our understanding of oil and gas methane and nitrogen oxide emissions as part of the </font><a href="http://graham.umich.edu/f3uel" class="">F3UEL project</a>, as well as to advance our understanding of tropical wetland emissions by combining new inundation observations from the CYGNSS satellite with TROPOMI methane observations. <font color="#000000" class="">This position will involve the use of modeling tools to interpret airborne and space-based measurements and link observations to underlying fluxes. In this position the research fellow will be expected to interact with a broad scientific team across multiple institutes. </font><div class=""><br class=""><span class="">Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant science or engineering field.
