The position serves as a leader for one of the preeminent groups of marine resource economists and social scientists in the US, if not the world. Branch staff conduct cutting edge research and provide expert resource management support for commercial and recreational fisheries in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, as well as for protected resources, ecosystem based management, wind energy development, etc. The Branch Chief will provide leadership for Branch scientific efforts, contribute to leadership of the Division and Science Center, and supervise ~13 federal staff directly or indirectly, including a new supervisory team lead position that will be recruited later this year.</div><br>Please share this announcement with interested candidates.
