is an opening for a postdoctoral fellow at the IBS Center
for Climate
Physics, Pusan National University, to work with Dr.
Christian
Franzke on the dynamical response of the atmosphere to
global
warming, modeling of extreme weather and climate events
and how they
will change in a warmer world. The successful candidate
will carry
out and analyze climate model simulations, analyze data
sets using
modern statistical and machine learning methods. In
particular, we
will develop a framework for examining the moist energy
budget. This
research will provide new insights of how global warming
affects
storms, atmospheric circulation systems and extreme
events.</span></span></font></font></p>

international and interdisciplinary research environment, and
to be
excited to work on new and interdisciplinary research
