                      <td><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong> 
Candidates should be enthusiastic about working hands-on with a diverse 
group of undergraduate and graduate students in Ecohydrology. 
Ecohydrologists seek to characterize the interactions and feedbacks 
between ecological and hydrological systems and employ multi-scale 
approaches potentially including or combining field and lab-based 
methods and modeling. The applicant should have experience in practical 
applications of their scientific discipline.  <br>
Preference will be given to candidates with experience with assessment 
techniques, instructional technology in the teaching-learning process, 
and roles of faculty in attracting and supporting student success. The 
successful applicant should possess the capability to seamlessly 
integrate aspects of the broader fields of geosciences, biology, 
conservation and natural resource management and use novel approaches to
 engage undergraduate and graduate students to confront local problems 
of Northern California as well as societal issues and global challenges 
in ecohydrological research.</p></td>
