<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">The Chemistry Department and Environmental Studies Program at Reed College in Portland, Oregon invite applications for a one-year visiting position, with a possible extension for a second year, in the field of Environmental Chemistry, beginning in August 2021. The successful candidate will offer courses in environmental and analytical chemistry, as well as contributing to a team-taught interdisciplinary course in the Environmental Studies program (<a href="https://www.reed.edu/es/courses.htm" target="_blank">https://www.reed.edu/es/courses.htm</a>l). Teaching duties also include advising senior thesis students in year-long independent research projects. Excellent facilities for teaching and research are available, including a 400 MHz multinuclear NMR spectrometer, GC/MS, triple quadrupole LC/MS, and more (<a href="https://www.reed.edu/chemistry/instrumentation.html" target="_blank">https://www.reed.edu/chemistry/instrumentation.html</a>), supported by a full-time instrumentation chemist.
