 of the history, trends, current status, and science behind ocean resource policy, the application of research results to U.S. management of ocean resources, and interrelationships of federal programs and policies with the positions of key state, industry,
 academic, and nongovernmental stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to develop expertise in new areas.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 issues. Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex analyses into easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience, are required.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
