in the Department of Environmental Sciences at University of
California, Riverside, CA invites applications for a postdoctoral
researcher position in Isotope Hydrology of Mountain Ecosystems. The
specific objective of the project is to understand groundwater
recharge and evapotranspiration processes from headwaters of Sierra
Nevada to agricultural ecosystems of the Central Valley in
California using environmental tracers and novel laboratory and
modeling techniques. This research position will provide an
exceptional academic and professional development opportunity in a
highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. <br>
<br>
<b>Qualifications: </b><br>
The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Hydrology, Earth
System Sciences, Civil and Environmental Engineering or a related
field with a specialization in Isotope Hydrology or Ecohydrology.
Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years from
an accredited university. <br>
<br>
<b>Skills: </b><br>
Required qualifications for this position include: <br>
• Strong background in isotope hydrology, field and laboratory
techniques; <br>
• Experience in programming; <br>
• Demonstrated record of high-quality publications; <br>
• Demonstrated success working and communicating in a team
environment;<br>
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.<br>
