Unger Vetlesen Professorship of Earth Studies. The successful<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>candidate will direct the newly created Aircraft Center for Earth Studies (ACES). The<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Vetlesen Professorship is anticipated to be at the tenured Associate or Full Professor rank, but an<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>exceptional applicant at the Assistant Professor rank will be considered. The position<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>also includes recruitment of a research faculty person to advance ACES goals.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The successful candidate will lead the ACES effort to expand and develop the use of new airborne-based technologies to further<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>research of terrestrial, oceanic and atmospheric environments and/or develop and engineer<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>new airborne systems and sensors.
