For this purpose, the successful applicant will evaluate the representation of stratocumulus and cumulus clouds and their feedbacks in global climate models against active and passive sensor satellite observations and study their link with climate sensitivity. This work will be performed within the framework of a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration climate sensitivity task force, which gathers a large panel of scientists from diverse institutes, and could potentially foster additional collaborations.
