<p class="MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;">The Environmental Pedology and Sustainable Nutrient Management Systems labs in the Soil and Water Sciences Department (SWSD) at the University of Florida are
seeking a Ph.D. research assistant to join an interdisciplinary team (soil fertility, microbiology, pedology, and extension) focused on the effects of different cover crops on soil health indicators in citrus ecosystems. The research assistant will conduct
field and laboratory work focused on chemical and physical soil health indicators, specifically: (1) testing the efficacy of “traditional” soil health indicators and (2) testing the efficacy of “novel” soil health indicators that may be more appropriate to
coarse-textured soil. This Assistantship is expected to start in the Fall of 2021 and includes a twelve-month stipend, full tuition coverage, and health insurance over a four-year period. <o:p class=""></o:p></span></p>
