Climate Extremes in North America and Europe: from Dynamics to Predictability”.
By using indicators issued from dynamical systems theory and existing global
climate model simulations, the candidate will contribute to identifying
compound extremes hotspots and the large-scale atmospheric dynamics driving the
compound occurrences, in both present and future climates.<span></span></span></p>

in Uppsala, which focuses on the dynamics of extreme climate events in the mid
and high latitudes and their interactions with other components of the Earth
System. I currently head three nationally funded research projects, an ERC
