      the Theoretical Meteorology group at the Meteorological Institute
      of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich, Germany,
      offers a postdoc position for a Scientific Programmer within the
      collaborative research center "Waves to Weather" (W2W,
      <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://wavestoweather.de">https://wavestoweather.de</a>), which is focused on limits of
      atmospheric predictability.<br>
      <br>
      The offered position contributes to the research centers
      infrastructure project and is at the interface between research
      and computing services. You will directly contribute to research
      goals, like investigating the applicability of lossy compression
      to meteorological data, but you will also regularly team up with
      postdocs and PhD students from W2W to support them in developing,
      debugging, and optimizing software.<br>
