We are looking for candidates with air quality analysis background who would like to use their technical skills to inform policy decisions and improve air quality in California's disadvantaged communities. As stated in the duty statement, superior writing skills is a must for qualifying candidates. This is a rather atypical scientific position where candidates will also get to interact with community stakeholders, air district, EJ groups and other CARB divisions and dive into technical as well as policy discussion. AB 617 is a new and fairly dynamic program where priorities change often providing opportunities to develop and exercise new skill sets.
