The Environmental Assessment Program<http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/eap/index.html> (EAP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Hydrogeologist 2 position. This Hydrogeologist 2 position serves as a staff hydrogeologist and is responsible for planning and conducting hydrogeologic investigations and providing technical services for groundwater, unsaturated zone and/or surface water investigations. This position will primarily be responsible for conducting monitoring field studies in support of Ecology's Chemical Action Plan (CAP) Implementation Monitoring program. This includes developing and implementing groundwater monitoring plans to carry out or support CAP recommendations, as well as conducting groundwater source identification for CAP chemicals.
