Dear colleague,

We have an opportunity for an NSF-funded master thesis at the School of Geosciences (http://www.ou.edu/mcee/geosciences), starting in fall 2020. The project aims at imaging basement and sedimentary structures in Unaweep Canyon (Colorado) with passive seismic methods and includes data acquisition, processing, and integrated geophysical/geological interpretation. The position is open to all applicants with a background in Geosciences. Experience and/or interest in seismology and computational aspects are of advantage.
