Dear Earth Sciences job email list members, (and apologies for cross-postings)

We have an exciting opportunity for an early career climate modeller to join myself and the sea ice research team in New Zealand to work on Earth System Model development related to sea ice and the Southern Ocean, in collaboration with our international colleagues Dr Jeff Ridley (MetOffice), Professor David Stevens (University of East Anglia), and Professor Cecilia Bitz (University of Washington). The position is jointly funded by the Deep South National Science Challenge and Antarctic Science Platform.

Further details are available here:
https://otago.taleo.net/careersection/2/jobdetail.ftl?lang=en&job=2000128

Please note the closing date Wednesday 19 February 2020 (NZ time). This is soon for a number of reasons, mainly related to the fact that work visas for New Zealand can take a long time to process for successful applicants.

I am happy to answer any specific questions by email, but please note that I will be out of email contact 15-18 February 2020 NZ time:

Regards,

Dr Inga Smith
